Provectus Algae
In a groundbreaking project with Provectus Algae, Andreas, the visionary founder of Bio10x, orchestrated the development of a distributed cyber-physical system that revolutionised the way R&D and production were conducted. At the heart of this innovation was the challenge of managing and scaling operations across hundreds of bioreactors distributed over two facilities. Andreas’ solution was a sophisticated network of custom firmware for microcontrollers and dedicated software for single-board computers. This system not only facilitated precise control over individual bioreactors, liquid handling robots, and microscopes but also seamlessly integrated with industrial controllers (PLCs and PACs) for an unmatched level of automation and efficiency.
